Twins of Tech was founded in 2008 by twin brothers Alex and Justin Weidmann. Based in Colorado, we are seasoned software engineers specializing in Ruby, Elixir, and JavaScript. Over the years we have built and contributed to a range of open-source projects — from Ruby gems like paranoid42 and Swipey to pull requests across popular repositories like Rails itself.

We created GitMonitor, a tool for enforcing custom rules on GitHub repositories. It monitored repos for policy violations — like direct commits to protected branches — and sent instant alerts via Slack, Discord, Email, and more.

We also built PocketConf, a mobile app that put conference schedules in your pocket. Attendees could browse sessions, build a personal schedule, and get notifications so they never missed a talk.
